How to use this result

Use this report to create a row-level list of owners returned for each Team.

When this helps

  • Review whether each Team still has the right accountable owners.
  • Prepare owner mappings before a migration, reorganization or governance cleanup.

How to read the result

  • Rows include the Team name together with the user identity, display name and Teams role returned by Get-TeamUser.
  • The report is a point-in-time ownership snapshot, not evidence that an owner is still active or accepts responsibility for the Team.

Things to check

  • Lookup errors are reported separately and should not be treated as missing owners.
  • Channel-specific ownership or membership is outside this Team-level owner report.

What to do next: Review owners with the business team and use the owner-count report to spot Teams with unusually low or high ownership.
