Terms of Service

Terms for the Opselith website, browser tools and Opselith Pro.

Effective date: 20 August 2026

1. About Opselith

Opselith is an independently operated browser-based toolkit for IT professionals. It provides browser tools, PowerShell templates and, where enabled, a paid Pro service.

Questions, support requests and legal notices: support@opselith.com.

2. Free tools

Opselith provides general-purpose technical tools and information. Results are intended to assist you; they are not a substitute for your own technical judgment, security review, change control or testing.

3. Scripts and technical output — use at your own risk

PowerShell and other generated output can make real changes. A generated script may modify operating systems, configurations, files, registry settings, services, permissions, applications, networks, directories or data when executed.

You are solely responsible for reviewing generated output, checking its permissions and scope, validating inputs, assessing the expected effects and deciding whether and where to execute it. Test appropriately before using it in production.

Do not execute generated scripts in a production environment without first reviewing and appropriately testing them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Opselith is not responsible for damage, data loss, configuration changes, downtime, security incidents or other consequences resulting from the use, modification or execution of scripts or other output generated by the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

4. Opselith Pro

Opselith Pro provides additional PowerShell templates and related Pro functionality through a license associated with the purchase email.

Current pricing is €2.99 per month or €24.99 per year. The price and billing interval shown at checkout apply to that transaction.

Do not resell, publicly share or use a Pro license to circumvent access controls or licensing restrictions. Keep your license key secure.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for Paddle Checkout purchases and handles payment processing, billing, applicable taxes and buyer payment support for those transactions.

Your purchase is also subject to the applicable Paddle buyer terms and refund policy. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law or the applicable remedy requires otherwise.

6. Consumer rights and withdrawal

Consumers retain all mandatory rights under applicable law, including applicable withdrawal, conformity, cancellation and digital-service rights. Where mandatory law provides stronger protection than these Terms, the mandatory law applies.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, Opselith will provide the required information and withdrawal mechanism. The statutory withdrawal right and its exceptions are determined by applicable law; Opselith does not create additional exceptions through these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Opselith to abuse, attack, disrupt or unlawfully access systems or data, or bypass access controls or licensing restrictions. Follow applicable laws and the policies of systems you administer.

8. Availability and changes

Features may change, improve, be suspended or be discontinued. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We may update these Terms where permitted by law. For continuing subscriptions, any changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any required notice or cancellation rights.

9. Intellectual property

The Opselith website, branding, original content and software are owned by or licensed to Opselith unless stated otherwise. You may use generated output for your own legitimate technical work, subject to any applicable third-party rights and license terms.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Opselith is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every generated script, command, recommendation or tool result is complete, error-free, secure or suitable for your particular environment.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Opselith excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss and for consequences arising from a user's decision to execute, modify or rely on generated technical output. This does not apply where such exclusion is not legally permitted.

11. Complaints and contact

Contact support@opselith.com for support, Pro access questions, complaints or legal notices. We will review reported technical or service issues and respond where reasonably possible.
