Prepare user mappings before you copy Teams.

Opselith creates the user mapping file. ShareGate still handles the team selection, destination team, rename choices and the actual copy.

Before you start

What ShareGate can copyTeams, channels, messages, files and supported Planner content can be included depending on copy options.
Standard templateShareGate currently creates destination teams with the Standard Team template.
Group mapping limitationCopy teams supports user mappings but not group mappings.

Quick answers

Does Opselith create a team-to-team CSV?

No. ShareGate does not document a team-destination CSV import for the Copy teams UI. Opselith prepares the supported user mapping instead.

Can I rename a team?

Yes, but you choose or edit the destination team name in ShareGate.

Can I map groups in Copy teams?

No. ShareGate documents that Copy teams only supports user mapping, not group mapping.
