Prepare a Copy identities mapping CSV.
Opselith checks the identity rows and creates ShareGate’s eight-column CSV locally. ShareGate still reviews and executes the identity copy.

02Fill explicit matchesAdd source and destination Object IDs, names and the user UPNs you are mapping.
03Check the CSVOpselith validates GUIDs, UPNs, duplicates and unsafe spreadsheet values.
04Import and reviewUpload the CSV in ShareGate Copy identities and review every mapping and license decision there.

Direct CSV importShareGate supports importing mapping decisions from CSV in the Copy identities planning view.
Eight columnsThe documented format contains source/destination Object ID, display name, user UPN and group mail nickname fields.
Creation behaviorShareGate allows DestinationObjectId to be empty to create an identity. Opselith deliberately requires a destination Object ID for this mapping workflow.
Vendor executes the changeOpselith never creates Entra identities or assigns licenses.
Quick answers
Why does Opselith require DestinationObjectId?
To keep a mapping file from silently becoming an identity-creation request. Creation should be an explicit decision in ShareGate.
Can I map groups?
Opselith accepts a user UPN or a group mail nickname on each side and checks that users map to users and groups map to groups.
Does this assign licenses?
No. Review and assign destination licenses in ShareGate’s Copy identities planning view.
