    More about this script

    Why use this template?

Use this free PowerShell script when you need to export mobile device statistics for exchange online mailboxes. It is generated locally and can be reviewed before you run it yourself in your own PowerShell session.

The template uses ExchangeOnlineManagement and requires Exchange Administrator / appropriate Exchange permissions. Output: CSV report. Level: Intermediate. Action: Read-only. Risk: Low.

    Review before running

The script is generated in your browser. Read it before you run it, and test it outside production first. “Read-only” describes the script itself; anything you add around it can still change data.

    1. Open the template in the PowerShell Builder.
    2. Enter the requested values and review the module, permissions, output and risk.
    3. Generate the script, read it carefully, and test it outside production before use.

    How to use this result

Use this report to inventory mobile devices known to Exchange mailbox synchronization and review their last synchronization information.

    When this helps

    • Review mailbox-linked mobile devices during support or account cleanup.
    • Find devices with old or missing synchronization timestamps for follow-up.
    • Preserve per-mailbox lookup failures so incomplete coverage is visible in the CSV.

    How to read the result

    • The report can include device type, model, OS, LastSuccessSync, LastSyncAttemptTime and status returned by Exchange.
    • A device record shows an Exchange synchronization relationship; it is not the same as Intune enrollment, compliance or current physical-device activity.

    Things to check

    • Microsoft recommends Get-EXOMobileDeviceStatistics in Exchange Online where available; the Opselith template prefers it and falls back only when needed.
    • Old synchronization data is a review signal, not automatic proof that a device should be removed.

What to do next: Investigate stale or error rows and compare them with your device-management source before removing any mobile-device relationship.
